Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, promoting dignity and independence
Support a clean, comfortable environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively during shift handoff
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, offering emotional support and kindness

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and ability to pass facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills; resident-focused attitude
Previous long-term care or nursing home experience preferred but not required
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (lifting, standing, assisting patients)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification (state-specific per Pennsylvania requirements)

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care principles and ADLs
Familiarity with infection control and resident safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good observational skills to notice changes in condition
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nursing staff
