Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing and feeding
• Assist with transfers, mobility and safe positioning
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in resident charts
• Support a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability and willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on the scheduled days
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care for residents

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living and resident mobility
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Strong communication and empathetic interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and document care clearly
