Shift Type: Primarily day shift, rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; schedule varies and may include weekends. Night shift availability may be requested as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily nursing care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to supervisors
• Follow established nursing care procedures and document care accurately and timely
• Support a team-focused environment by communicating clearly with nurses, therapists and family members
• Help maintain a safe, clean and respectful living environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and willing to cover nights occasionally
• Experience in long term care or resident care is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
• Ability to follow care plans and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Resident care and routine nursing care best practices
• Long term care experience and understanding of chronic care needs
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Basic infection control and hygiene procedures
• Accurate documentation and charting of care provided
• Team communication and time management in a fast-paced care setting
