Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility
Take and report vital signs and observe changes in residents’ condition
Maintain safety and dignity for every resident during care tasks
Document care accurately and communicate updates to the nursing team
Collaborate with teammates and support a positive, resident-centered environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in Massachusetts
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and reliability
Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as required by facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
Clear, professional communication and teamwork
Time management and the ability to follow care plans
