Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality allied health care with compassion and professionalism
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care
- Perform assessments, treatments, or procedures within your scope to improve outcomes
- Document patient interactions accurately and communicate changes in condition promptly
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe environment for patients and staff
- Participate in unit huddles and contribute ideas to improve workflows and patient experience
- Support orientation of temporary team members and share best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant allied health experience (as noted in the job details)
- Valid Florida state licensure or certification appropriate to your allied role, or eligibility to obtain one
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree, diploma, or certification in a relevant allied health field preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical knowledge relevant to allied practice and patient safety
- Proficient documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Teamwork mindset and effective communication with patients and colleagues
- Adaptability to different units, workflows, and patient populations
