Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and design individualized physical therapy plans
• Deliver evidence-based treatments including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities
• Monitor progress, adjust plans of care, and document outcomes clearly and timely
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members to optimize patient recovery
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and fall prevention
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain professional standards, compliance, and patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license required or eligible to obtain prior to start
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)
• BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications welcome
• Comfortable treating a diverse adult patient population across the care continuum
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Professional, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work the scheduled days (Sun–Sat) and adapt to facility needs

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation principles
• Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
• Ability to perform patient assessments, gait analysis, and functional mobility training
• Proficiency with documentation and common EMR systems
• Strong clinical reasoning, time management, and patient education skills
• Infection control, safety protocols, and patient handling best practices
