Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents in an assisted living setting
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming and mobility support
- Document resident status and care provided accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members about resident needs
- Follow facility policies and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
- Support social and emotional well-being of residents through respectful interactions
Qualifications
- Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification required
- T-LNA or travel LNA experience is highly desirable
- Experience working in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to complete facility onboarding requirements including background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication, reliability and teamwork skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of an approved LNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in personal care, transfers and safe resident handling
- Comfortable with documentation and basic charting
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams
- Customer-service mindset for working with residents and families
