Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, direct bedside care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Monitor and record patient status, vital signs, and response to care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
- Communicate clearly with residents and families to educate and address concerns
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control standards
- Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with professional handoffs
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or required by facility
- Demonstrated clinical skills and ability to provide safe nursing care
- Local candidate or able to commute — this role is LOCAL ONLY
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete facility onboarding requirements
Education
- LPN / Vocational Nursing diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation practices
- Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring of clinical status
- Comfortable working overnight and managing shift transitions
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing workflows
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
