Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day (exact days to be confirmed with recruiter)

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients’ communication and swallowing function using evidence-based tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals to improve patient outcomes
- Provide skilled therapy for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia with clear progress notes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support discharge planning
- Train and educate patients, families, and caregivers on home strategies to maximize progress
- Document treatment sessions and outcomes in the facility electronic health record in a timely manner
- Participate in team meetings and contribute clinical expertise to improve program quality
Qualifications
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or in progress
- Experience working with adult rehab or post-acute populations preferred
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain as required by facility
- Ability to start within a short window to meet urgent needs; reliable and professional travel-ready mindset
Education
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong dysphagia assessment and management skills
- Skilled in evidence-based treatment for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
- Comfortable with clinical documentation and outcome measurement
- Excellent communication and education skills for patients and families
- Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary rehab teams
- Familiarity with common therapy tools and EHR systems
