Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret a high-volume mix of studies — XR, CT, MRI and ultrasound — with accuracy and clinical context
• Provide timely reads for emergency department cases and prioritize acute findings to support frontline care
• Deliver subspecialty MSK interpretations, applying fellowship-level expertise or equivalent experience
• Work within established teleradiology workflows to ensure fast turnaround and consistent reporting
• Communicate findings clearly to ordering providers and escalate urgent results when needed
• Maintain high quality and consistency in reports while meeting volume and productivity expectations

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Fellowship in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology preferred, or extensive MSK experience equivalent
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (preferred)
• Experience reading XR, CT, MRI and ultrasound — demonstrated ability to handle general radiology exams
• Prior teleradiology / remote reading experience strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain or hold an active medical license in West Virginia (or eligibility to attain one)

Education

• MD or DO (Diagnostic Radiology residency required)
• MSK fellowship preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in MSK imaging and cross-sectional modalities (CT and MRI)
• Proficiency with plain radiography (X-ray) and ultrasound interpretation
• Comfortable with emergency radiology case mix and fast-paced ED workflows
• Experience with teleradiology platforms, remote reading best practices and digital reporting
• Strong communication skills for clear clinician-facing reports and care coordination
• Ability to manage high daily volumes while maintaining diagnostic quality
