Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and provide high-quality care for high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric patients
• Perform and interpret obstetric ultrasounds and provide fetal assessments using onsite ultrasound
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate inpatient and outpatient care
• Provide scheduled clinic visits and timely documentation in Epic
• Participate in rotating hospital call to support labor and delivery needs
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to guide care decisions and counseling
• Contribute to practice workflow improvements and peer collaboration to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Active or eligible for medical license in New York
• Experience in obstetrics and high-risk pregnancy management
• Comfortable with clinic practice, call coverage and hospital-based collaboration
• Proficiency with ultrasound for obstetric/fetal evaluation
• Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic medical records

Education

• MD or DO degree
• Completed fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in high-risk obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine best practices
• Skilled in performing and interpreting obstetric ultrasound
• Strong clinical decision-making in acute and outpatient settings
• Effective communication and patient counseling skills
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in call rotations
• Familiarity with documentation and workflows in Epic
