Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line across West Michigan
• Deliver expert, patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies, including diagnostic and consultative management
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYN, neonatology and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate complex care
• Lead program development initiatives to grow and enhance MFM services and quality outcomes
• Partner in a dyad leadership model with administrative and clinical directors to drive service excellence
• Mentor and educate medical students, residents and colleagues to foster the next generation of clinicians
• Be accountable for quality, colleague engagement, stewardship and program performance in the West Michigan market

Qualifications

• Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (current; not accepting candidates with lapsed certification)
• Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine practice experience (post-training)
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred, or completion of leadership-specific training
• Not accepting new graduates or locum candidates
• Open to H-1B visa candidates; J-1 waiver candidates cannot be accepted

Education

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep expertise in Maternal Fetal Medicine and high-risk pregnancy management
• Strong physician leadership and clinical oversight capabilities
• Experience in program development and quality improvement
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines including OB/GYN and neonatology
• Mentorship and teaching skills to support trainees and colleagues
• Comfort working in a dyad leadership model with administrative partners
