Location: Findlay, OH
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Multiple day-shift options (day/rotating): Part-time or full-time (2–5 days/week; 8‑, 10‑ or 12‑hour days); Week On/Week Off — Mon–Thu 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Fri 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sat 4-hour (time variable); 12 ten-hour days in a 28-day block. Day shifts with flexible extended morning or evening hours available.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient endocrine and diabetes care to a diverse patient population
- Manage and coordinate care for complex endocrine cases, ensuring timely follow-up
- Offer inpatient specialty consults as needed and collaborate closely with hospitalist services
- Work alongside subspecialty colleagues (rheum, PM&R, ortho, etc.) to deliver integrated care
- Mentor learners and colleagues — precept residents and support new clinicians
- Contribute to practice operations and scheduling decisions to shape a practice that works for you
- Educate patients on chronic disease management and empower them with practical care plans
- Support quality initiatives and local leadership efforts to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- MD or DO (or equivalent) — residency training completed; endocrinology fellowship or specialized training preferred
- Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology (preferred)
- Eligible for or holding an active Ohio medical license (able to work in the U.S.; not accepting visa candidates)
- Comfortable in a 100% outpatient practice with optional inpatient consult duties
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; willingness to mentor and participate in team-based care
- Open to residents, new grads, and experienced physicians — Locums candidates not accepted
Education
- MD or DO (or equivalent medical degree); residency in Internal Medicine (or equivalent); endocrinology fellowship preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Endocrinology and comprehensive diabetes management
- Outpatient clinic workflows and patient volume management (15–20 patients/day typical)
- Ability to provide inpatient consults when requested
- Practice management awareness, clinic scheduling and operational input
- Mentorship and teaching skills for learners and junior staff
- Cross‑specialty collaboration with subspecialists and hospital leadership
- Patient education, shared decision-making and chronic disease counseling
