Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient vascular surgical care to a diverse patient population
- Perform open and endovascular vascular procedures and manage vein-related cases
- Participate in clinical rounds, outpatient clinic sessions and perioperative care
- Cover call on a 1:4 rotation including nights and weekends to ensure continuous patient care
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners and vascular techs
- Accurately document patient care and plans using EPIC
- Support growth of the vascular service line through excellent clinical outcomes and teamwork
- Maintain certification and participate in credentialing/privileging processes
Qualifications
- Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery (fellowship must be completed prior to start)
- Fellowship-trained in Vascular Surgery — open to final-year 2025 fellows (quick 2025 start preferred)
- Endovascular skills and vein experience preferred
- Experience with inpatient, outpatient, clinic care and on-call coverage
- Comfort working within a Level II trauma-designated facility
- Proficiency with EPIC for documentation
- Open to H-1B visa candidates; J-1 candidates cannot be accepted
- Not open to 1099 contractors, locum or locum-to-perm candidates, or providers with lapsed board certification
- Willingness to reside within a one-hour commute (not open to long-distance commuters)
- Must complete employee health screening and be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption is approved
Education
- MD or DO degree
- Fellowship in Vascular Surgery
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery (completion of fellowship required prior to start)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong vascular surgery knowledge including open and endovascular techniques
- Experience managing vein procedures and vascular clinic workflows
- Comfort providing both inpatient and outpatient care and leading rounds
- Ability to manage on-call responsibilities including nights and weekends
- Familiarity with EPIC and clinical documentation best practices
- Team-oriented communication with surgeons, APPs, and vascular techs
- Understanding of care within a Level II trauma environment
