Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders for residents
• Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each resident’s needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Educate residents and families about communication strategies and resources

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
