Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including 0630-1900 and 1830-0700, every third weekend, with occasional floating to Postpartum or other units

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in ORs and provide care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Triage units
Perform normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
Float to Postpartum on occasion and provide care to mothers and infants
Titrate drips, including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and pain meds
Collaborate with Charge Nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Current RN licensure
BLS and NRP certifications
Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Triage units
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and adaptability

Knowledge & Skills

Obstetric care and high-risk OB patients
Neonatal care and newborn assessments
Titration of medications and drips
Electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and Obix system
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
