RN (Registered Nurse) - Bed Placement/Patient Placement

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12 hours, 3 days a week, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM. 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period (Fri and Sat nights, Sat and Sun days). Must be able to work holidays.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Place patients on appropriate units at assigned hospitals
Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure proper bed placement
Communicate effectively with charge nurses and leadership
Work with multiple applications, including TeleTracking and Cerner
Multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Current RN license
2 years of recent acute care experience
Experience with TeleTracking and Cerner
Strong computer skills, including Google applications and Zoom
Excellent multitasking and customer service skills

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Knowledge of hospital operations and bed management
Familiarity with Google applications and Zoom
