Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with a day off during the week when working a weekend shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to patients in ICU and other units
Work with patients who have orthopedic and total joint conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
Conduct therapy sessions for ventilated patients
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapy license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least 2 years of experience in acute care physical therapy
Experience working with orthopedic and total joint patients
Experience with ventilated patients

Education

Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy techniques and modalities
ICU and acute care settings
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
Ventilated patient care
Electronic medical records (EMR) - Cerner
