Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every third weekend, nights every other weekend, and holidays rotating with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry
Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
Work effectively in a team environment with RTs, providers, and nursing staff
Manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications

Current BLS, ACLS, RRT or CRT certification
1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Driver's license required
Ability to work within a 50-mile radius of the hospital

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Respiratory therapy skills, including ventilator management and high-flow oxygen therapy
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Time management and adaptability skills
