Physical Therapist – UHC Staffing

Location: Merced, CA

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8 hours, flexible to 10 hours for PT travelers, Monday-Friday, specific start/end times discussed during orientation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients in an outpatient physical therapy setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with therapy leaders and other healthcare professionals
Utilize EMR technology to document patient information
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience working in an outpatient or acute care setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Physical Therapy degree

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
EMR technology, specifically Cerner
Collaboration and communication skills
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
