• # beds: unit is divided into 300 unit which is 14 beds and the 'main' unit which is 44 beds
• Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Ratios: 1 to 4
• EMR: Cerner
• Charge Nurse: No
• Nurse Aides: one on night shift, one on mid shift, and 3-4 on day shift
• Weekend Requirement: every other (4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule)
• Holidays: work them in with perm staff rotation
• Scrub Color: navy
• Tele: phillips - they do have a monitor tech
• Nurse's Read Strips: yes
• Drips: amiodarone, heparin, cardizem, fixed rate insulin, nitro, dopamine (only for renal dosing)
• Vents: no but may get bipap or cpap
• Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: on call after hours

• Pharmacy 24/7: No - use marian for after hours after 10pm
