Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekends required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized care to neuro stepdown and progressive care patients
- Monitor and assess patients using NIHSS protocols to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver evidence-based treatment plans
- Document patient progress accurately in EPIC electronic health records
- Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and advocate for their needs
Qualifications
- Active RN license verified through Nursys
- Minimum 2 years of experience in neuro stepdown or progressive care
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- EPIC experience strongly preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong neuro stepdown and progressive care clinical skills
- Proficiency with NIHSS stroke assessment
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
- Ability to care for a mix of neuro and med/surg stepdown patients
