Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0630-1900 and 1830-0700, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions
Monitor and titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and interpret neurological status
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain a positive attitude, strong communication, and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or stepdown experience preferred
Driver's license required for verification of 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Proficiency in titrating intravenous medications
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
