Location: Carmichael, California

Start Date: 06-09-2026

End Date: 09-08-2026

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, up to every other weekend, rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and manage patient daily lists
Review patient charts and assess patient needs
Open goals of care discussions with patients and families
Provide education on disease process, advance directives, and POLSTs
Hold family meetings as needed
Attend daily rounds and provide end-of-life support

Qualifications

2-5 years of recent experience in palliative and/or hospice setting
ICU and/or oncology experience a plus
BLS certification required, ELNEC preferred
Strong acute care, clinical thinking, and communication skills

Education

RN degree required

Knowledge & Skills

Palliative care experience
Clinical thinking and communication skills
Organizational and flexibility skills
Desire to serve others, patients, and families
