Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and rehab
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses
Conduct bedside swallow studies and video swallowing studies
Collaborate with rehab aides/OTA/PTAL and other healthcare professionals
Participate in unit-specific orientation and training

Qualifications

Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
Preferred experience in trauma, inpatient clinical, and travel
CCC-SLP certification for Speech therapists, NBCOT exam for OT

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy techniques and modalities
EMR Cerner Powerchart
Patient assessment and treatment planning
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
