Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Start Date: 07-13-2026
End Date: 10-12-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Primarily 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with variable start times from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Includes on-call shifts (1 night every 6 weeks) and weekends.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
- Monitor vital signs and manage pain effectively
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure smooth recovery
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care
- Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition with confidence
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience
- Telemetry interpretation skills
- Epic proficiency preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical thinking and assessment abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of PACU protocols and equipment
