Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with every other weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including oncology and trauma PCU patients
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor for side effects (preferred certification)
- Titrate commonly used drips like insulin and cardizem as needed
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, PT/OT, social workers, and dietitians
- Float to med-surg and PCU units as needed to support team coverage
- Maintain a safe, healing environment while adhering to patient experience standards like hourly rounding
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/Med-Surg experience
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state (NLC)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
- EPIC experience highly valued
- Valid driver's license required at submission to verify 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
- Comfortable with IV pumps (Alaris) and EPIC EMR
- Ability to titrate drips like cardizem, heparin, and protonix
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
