Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a busy Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, intervene as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
Float to other units as needed to support hospital operations

Qualifications

2 years of current Medical Surgical experience required
Telemetry experience required
Willingness to float to other units required
Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at profile upload
Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
Must have own reliable vehicle for this assignment
Perm address must be outside 50 miles from facility

Knowledge & Skills

Medical Surgical nursing skills
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Basic Dysrhythmia recognition
Proficiency in Meditech Expanse EMR (highly preferred)
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
