Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour Night shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed, every other weekend, holidays as needed, on-call required

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby units
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and lactation consultants to ensure safe and personalized deliveries
Monitor fetal and maternal status during labor, and assist with cesarean births as needed
Educate new mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery
Maintain a calm and supportive environment for families during childbirth

Qualifications

2 years current Labor and Delivery experience required
Post Partum/Mother Baby experience required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Active Massachusetts RN license required
Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Active STABLE certification required
Perm address must be included with profile
Traveler must have own vehicle for this assignment
Available for interview with specific dates and times
