Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (days) or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (nights), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients in a combined acuity unit (ICU/PCU/Medical-Surgical)
Titrate critical drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
Monitor telemetry and interpret 12-lead EKGs for cardiac patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to other units (EC MST, Pediatric, West Campus ICU/PCU) to maintain competency and support staffing needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med Surg in a large facility
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% within two attempts before contract start

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU, PCU, and Telemetry nursing
Proficiency in 12-lead EKG interpretation
Skilled in titrating vasoactive and sedative drips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability for floating between units
