Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, rotating weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and titrate cardiac drips
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios
- Participate in orientation and pass open-book exam on skills
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Driver's license required to verify 50-mile radius rule
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
