Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights), including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Respond quickly and effectively to life-threatening conditions, including trauma, burns, and cardiac emergencies
Monitor telemetry strips and interpret cardiac rhythms
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, midlevels, and support staff
Float between multiple ED locations as needed (up to 30 minutes apart)
Maintain sterile field during procedures such as central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Room experience required
At least 6 months of Level 1 Trauma Center experience mandatory
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (ENPC not accepted in lieu of PALS)
TNCC and ATCN preferred
Must pass the DYS exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR system
Strong ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Excellent sterile technique for invasive procedures
Comfortable with fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Effective communication and teamwork skills
