Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day Shift, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and create personalized treatment plans to improve their functional independence
Implement therapeutic interventions under physician orders, ensuring safety and efficacy
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning
Document progress in the electronic medical record with attention to Medicare and other regulations
Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and assistive devices
Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and new staff

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts required
Minimum 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required
BLS certification preferred (but we can help you get it)
Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment

Education

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
Excellent time management and documentation abilities
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
