Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
• Document patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising PT
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for daily therapy sessions
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Hampshire
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer documentation requirements
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
• Basic anatomy, physiology, and pathology awareness
