Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders to improve communication and swallowing function
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate speech‑language goals into overall care plans
• Document patient progress and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises

Qualifications

• Valid Oklahoma Speech Language Pathologist license
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Clinical experience in a post‑acute rehabilitation setting (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Assessment and evaluation techniques for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Therapeutic intervention strategies
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
