Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient preparation and instrument setup
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area throughout the day
• Take and develop dental impressions and radiographs as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care
• Manage inventory of supplies and ensure proper sterilization procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Dental assisting certification or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in orthodontic settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a friendly bedside manner
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with orthodontic instruments and appliances
• Basic knowledge of dental radiography and infection control
• Proficiency with dental software for scheduling and charting
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Team‑oriented attitude with a focus on patient comfort
