Education

• Other Certs Required for all OT: OT License
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients Acute care population, Elective ortho-post-op day hips, knees, shoulders' medical patients
• ICU
• surgical patients
• Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? Acute Patients
• What areas are they required to cover? ortho, medical, ICU/IMC, PACU, ED, observation unit
• Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties Acute care experience
• OT Manager/Supervisor Manager- Rachael Hale, Lead OT -Stacey Myers
• Rehab Aides: COTA's We have rehab techs
• Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) The main request is for two weekends per month to be covered (in addition to 2 week days). They would also need to float to Penrose hospital when census/volumes are low, so need to be flexible with floating. 10 hour shifts preferred.
• Weekend Requirements Two weekends per month
• Holiday Requirements one summer holiday, one winter holiday
• Scrub Color/Dress Code Pants - black scrub pants
• Top-black, royal blue or "Christmas" red scrub top
• Department specific orientation You will orient with the Lead OT
