Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental prophylaxis and oral health education to patients
• Perform scaling, polishing, and root planing under dentist supervision
• Document patient histories, treatment plans, and clinical findings accurately
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a clean operatory
• Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license (PA)
• Dental Hygiene Associate’s degree or higher
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and infection‑control practices

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental hygiene instruments and ultrasonic scalers
• Understanding of periodontal disease assessment and prevention
• Familiarity with electronic dental records (EDR) systems
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities
