Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures involving braces and Invisalign
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and appliance maintenance
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure a smooth appointment experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in Virginia (or eligible)
• Experience with orthodontic procedures such as braces and Invisalign
• X-ray certification preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic instruments and techniques
• Familiarity with digital orthodontic software and imaging
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
