Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with exposure, hemostasis, and closure to ensure safe, optimal outcomes
• Prepare the surgical field and coordinate patient positioning for a smooth operation
• Maintain sterile instrument counts and support intraoperative tasks like suction and irrigation
• Collaborate with the surgical team to manage robotic, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and support postoperative care and wound management

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field
• Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) or equivalent licensure
• Minimum 2 years of surgical experience, scrub experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, anatomy, and aseptic technique
• Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and clinical judgment

Education

• Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field
