Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care, feeding, and mobility support to residents
  • Follow individualized care plans and ensure resident goals, preferences, rights, and safety are met
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning using gait belts and mechanical lifts
  • Offer restorative and range‑of‑motion exercises as assigned
  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
  • Support residents during mealtimes, including setup, grooming, feeding assistance, and documentation
  • Observe and report changes in resident physical, emotional, or cognitive status
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Document ADLs, intake/output, restorative care, and other tasks accurately in the electronic charting system
  • Participate in onboarding and training of new staff members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment
  • Follow infection control protocols, including PPE use and hand hygiene
  • Report equipment concerns, safety hazards, or resident rights issues immediately
  • Support a calm, homelike atmosphere and minimize stressors for residents
  • Protect resident belongings and promptly report missing items
  • Ensure residents are free from abuse, neglect, and restraints
  • Honor residents’ right to refuse care and seek alternatives that respect autonomy
  • Participate in emergency procedures and respond appropriately
  • Assist with dining room setup, social engagement, and community‑based activities
