Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Care, feed, and mobilize residents with compassion
- Follow individualized care plans to align with resident goals and safety
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning using gait belts and lifts
- Provide restorative and range‑of‑motion exercises
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Support residents with assistive devices and adaptive equipment
- Assist during mealtimes, including grooming and documentation
- Observe and report changes in resident status to the Licensed Nurse
- Communicate effectively with families, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff
- Document ADLs, intake/output, and restorative care accurately
- Participate in onboarding and training of new staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment
- Follow infection control protocols and PPE use
- Report equipment concerns and safety hazards immediately
- Support a calm, homelike atmosphere and minimize resident stressors
- Protect resident belongings and report missing items
- Ensure residents are free from abuse, neglect, and restraints
- Honor residents’ right to refuse care and seek alternatives
- Participate in emergency procedures and respond appropriately
- Assist with dining room setup, social engagement, and community activities
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a CNA
- Active BLS certification and Wisconsin CNA license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and support residents safely
- Computer literacy, including electronic medical records
- Strong communication and empathy skills
