Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, various days

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for each resident

Qualifications

Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in Maryland
A passion for caring for the elderly and making a difference
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles and safety protocols
Excellent bedside manner and empathy
Ability to lift and assist residents safely
Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills for documentation
