Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients using advanced technologies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans
Monitor and adjust ventilator settings to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate families on respiratory care techniques and equipment use
Respond quickly to emergencies with critical thinking and compassion

Qualifications

Current RRT license and BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience
Previous NICU and PICU experience strongly preferred
Meditech documentation experience is a plus

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with high flow devices, ventilators, and nitric oxide therapy
Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Patient-focused approach with a collaborative spirit
