Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluation and treatment to patients to improve mobility and independence
- Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment, goals, and evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress accurately and timely in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and injury prevention
- Participate in unit meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Physical Therapist license required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Comfortable working in an inpatient/rehab setting and collaborating with a team
- Able to work the scheduled days including weekends as needed
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or relevant clinical degree considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
- Familiarity with rehab modalities, therapeutic exercise, and gait training
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to prioritize caseload and manage documentation efficiently
- Team-focused attitude with a commitment to patient-centered care
