Location: Chandler, Arizona

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 10-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling, weekend rotations (Fri-Sat night)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to trauma, neuro, and medical-cardiac ICU patients
Titrate complex drips including propofol, levophed, and heparin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips independently
Collaborate with a 24/7 intensivist and respiratory therapy team
Float to telemetry and sister ICUs as needed
Participate in a pass/fail simulation lab on day one to ensure readiness

Qualifications

3 years of recent ICU experience required (no exceptions)
Experience with neuro or cardiovascular ICU strongly preferred
Level 1 trauma experience is a plus
Must pass UNA Dysrhythmia exam (max 2 attempts) prior to acceptance
Comfortable floating between three ICUs (SICU, MICU, CVICU)
First-time travelers welcome as long as experience requirements are met

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing and ventilator management
Drip titration and telemetry interpretation
Trauma nursing and neuro assessment
Proficient with Cerner charting system
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage high-acuity patients
