Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients
  • Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and respond to changes
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
  • Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to develop treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and home care

Qualifications

  • Valid Oregon Respiratory Therapist license required
  • BLS certification (CPR) required
  • NBRC credential (RRT or CRT) required
  • New graduates are welcome to apply; pediatric experience is a plus
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
  • Understanding of pediatric respiratory conditions and treatments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Comfort with electronic health records and documentation
