Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend, 1 major and 1 minor holiday per contract

Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the OR during C-sections and other surgical procedures
• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including monitoring and titrating drips like Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
• Perform newborn assessments and assist with immediate postpartum care
• Float to postpartum unit to care for both mother and baby as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents, CRNAs, and OB techs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state (NLC)
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Ability to circulate in OR and perform newborn assessments
• Driver's license required at submission (to verify 50-mile radius rule)
• No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EFM systems (Obix experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of high-risk OB and routine obstetric care
• Ability to titrate IV drips safely
• Excellent teamwork, positive attitude, and flexibility
• Eager to learn and open to new challenges
