Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, night shift schedule including weekend rotation and participation in call rotation (1 call shift per 2-week period)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert CVICU and CCU nursing care for critically ill and post-operative cardiac patients
- Perform bedside assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and titrate critical infusions
- Support and assist in the Cath Lab and hybrid Cath Lab cases as needed
- Participate in the unit call rotation and respond to emergent staffing needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient care clearly and thoroughly and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Educate patients and families on condition, recovery expectations, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of RN Critical Care experience required
- Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
- PALS (AHA) required for submissions
- Proof of seasonal flu vaccine required, no exemptions
- Ability and willingness to participate in weekend rotations and call schedule
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven ability to manage critically ill cardiac patients and post-op cardiac care
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drips, and ventilator management
- Familiarity with Cath Lab workflows and hybrid Cath Lab support
- Strong EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-family education skills
- Comfort working in a smaller community hospital setting and adapting to varied responsibilities
