Location: Brooklyn Park, Maryland

Start Date: 07-05-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: As needed, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living to geriatric patients
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
Support residents with meals, bathing, and personal hygiene
Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification (BLS) preferred
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to quality elder care

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles and safety protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
