Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient status, record observations, and report changes to the care team
Assist with care planning and collaborate with nurses and allied health professionals
Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Support patient education and assist families with care instructions

Qualifications

Current LPN license in New Mexico (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (required)
Clinical experience caring for adult patients (per-diem experience welcomed)
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work a 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift as scheduled

Education

Diploma in Practical Nursing or equivalent vocational nursing education
Continuing education and certifications encouraged

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and wound care
Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
Skilled in patient assessment, vitals monitoring, and reporting clinical changes
Team-oriented, dependable, and organized under varying clinical demands
Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
